Earnings Update

Repro India today posted its second quarter earnings results today. The end-to-end print solution provider posted a EPS of Rs 8.69 vs Rs 4.66 for the same quarter of the previous year. The net profit of the company for the quarter ended stood at 94 million which saw a surge of more than 84% year over year basis. Revenues recorded a rise of 18.17% to stand at 773.6 million.

Private bank Dhanalaxmi’s net profit for the quarter ending 30^th September, increased by 2.68 times to 43.5 million from 16.2 million year-over-year. The increase in the profit was attributed mainly because of increased fee based activity, non-interest income and overall growth in its business model.

Bajaj Holdings & Investment declared its second quarter earnings results today. The company reported a decrease in its net profit to 3,637.70 million as compared to 6,494.50 million from year ago. The net sales of the company fell from 4268 million to 905.8 million.

Capital engineering goods company Thermax posted a increase of 13.58% in its net profit for the 2^nd quarter. The company’s net profit came to 1017 million from 895.3 million which marked an increase of 13.58% year-over-year.

as all can see the stock has broken all momentum and has fallen to 215 levels. As discussed earlier the stock would fall and as expected it has fallen. The share pries can further fall to 185-195 levels.


As concerned with Yes Bank hold the stock at current levels to register a gain of  6-8% till Tuesday.

Market Outlook of 18th October

The Indian Stock market swung back to gains in the middle of the week. The 30 stock sensex once again moved to the 17,000 mark by gaining 2.01% or 337.05 points and the 50 stock Nifty rose by 101.65 points to close at 5139.15. Auto and banking sector helped the market to rally.

The Indian market is technically strong but due to global cues we are facing some resistance in the growth. The gains were led by Hero Motorcop, L&T, DLF and others. For tommorrow the expected level of nifty is 5190 on the upside and 5077 on the downside.

Hot Stocks to watch for tommorrow

Yes Bank is scheduled to release its earnings results tommorrow. It is expected that the numbers and margins will improve substantially quarter over quarter. The stock should be bought at current level for an intraday target of 300-305.

LIC Housing has formed a bearish pattern on the charts and it is advised to sell the stock for a target of 228-226.
